About Carrie
Since she began playing the violin at age 9, Carrie Brandt has brought the joy of music to many. She studied violin performance at North Carolina School of the Arts. In 1999 she graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in violin performance from Roanoke College in Virginia. She has participated twice in the Bowdoin International Music Festival.
Carrie has been teaching private violin and viola lessons to all ages for over 20 years. Her past teaching experience includes operating her own
studio, teaching at Ravenscroft School, a Junior Musician's camp in Windhoek, Namibia, and teaching at a music store.
Carrie also has been performing violin professionally for over 20 years. Her performing experience includes numerous symphonies, opera, musical theater, ballet orchestras, and church services. She has also performed in over 200 weddings and other private events.
Carrie currently lives in Aberdeen, NJ. Carrie is the Upper Campus Strings Teacher at Rippowam Cisqua School in Bedford, NY. Carrie also teaches private violin lessons in Bedford and online.
